My name is Sarah Harrison, i run a busy private practice and i also teach a CPCAB counselling course .
I have been a counsellor/life coach for many years but my background was in a bustling and busy publishing environment where I experienced many differing relationships and pressures. A busy workplace came with a lot of stress (sound familiar?).
Life throws many hurdles our way. Sometimes these can be very traumatic, stressful, overwhelming, we can feel stuck and find it difficult to navigate our way through and out the other side to a safer more relaxed, happy place. Counselling offers that safe, non-judgmental and confidential setting to help you explore and support you through those challenges. Wherever you may need it in your life.
Integrative counselling therapy
The aim of the therapy is to process and work through the difficult points on your life to a point where you feel comfortable with the tools needed to go on to live a happier life equipped with your own personal coping skills.
As an integrative counsellor I am qualified to offer various styles and techniques of therapy that combine carefully selected, complimentary, theoretical approaches and interventions that meet a clients needs.
I do also incorporate person centred seamlessly throughout. This means that I understand this is your time and your therapy and the focus will come from and be about you. I will not tell you what to do, I will not judge you but I will listen and provide you with the supportive environment you need to find your answers within.
Therapy can be daunting and so it is important that you feel comfortable with your therapist therefore I welcome a 10/15 minute telephone conversation before your first full session.
